JM Construction, Inc. started in February 1992 by brothers Jim and John Merkel. JM Construction is a full service remodeling and custom home contractor headquartered in Wentzville, Missouri. Together they have a combination of over 50 years experience in the construction field. Both Jim and John have their Graduate Remodelers Certificate, a distinguished and well-earned honor. The company specializes in residential and commercial remodeling as well as custom homes and commercial construction.
In June 1996 they relocated their Lake St. Louis office to 200 Crafton Drive in O’Fallon and housed a showroom office featuring kitchen and bath cabinetry, countertops and associated materials. in 1997 in addition to JM Construction Inc., a new company was formed, JM Kitchen and Bath.
In March 2000, JM Construction, Inc. broke ground on a 10,000 square foot building. JM Kitchen and Bath, Inc. and JM Construction, Inc. occupy approximately 5,000 square feet of the building. The JM Kitchen and Bath showroom boasts several displays promoting various applications in the industry, everything on the cutting edge of the remodel industry. In addition to owners John and Jim Merkel they employ a field staff of fifteen, a secretary, two kitchen designers, a field supervisor and a production supervisor. JM Construction Inc has ranked in the top 500 Qualified Remodelers for the past 8 years in the United States!
JM Construction provides a full array of remodeling and new construction services. These services include design and architectural drawings of room additions and custom homes They also provide kitchen and bath design and sales and installation. Every aspect of the remodel business is available including decks, sunrooms, and basement finishing and room additions. They have built a reputation of fine finish work and trim.
